Experienced Agrobusiness Consultant

Location: Based in Sydney and able to travel in Oceania Region
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 + Superannuation

On behalf of our client, a respected agricultural enterprise committed to sustainable farming innovation, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Agrobusiness Consultant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in agrochemical product application and crop improvement across diverse farming operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert advice on agrochemical applications, analysing crop and soil data, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the organisation’s products and technical services. This position plays a pivotal role in liaising with farm clients and supporting research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret feed, soil, and crop data to assess the effectiveness of agricultural products.
• Deliver professional advice to farming clients on the safe and effective use of agrochemical products to improve crop productivity.
• Provide technical consultation on disease prevention, pest management, and soil enhancement practices using company products.
• Collect and analyse client feedback on product usage and field performance, and report insights to the internal R&D team for future product refinement.
• Develop and propose detailed reafforestation plans for clients engaged in land rehabilitation using the company’s solutions.

Skills and Experience Required

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in the agrochemical or agricultural consultancy sector.
• Sound understanding of Australian regulations governing chemical products used in agriculture.
• High-level communication skills in English – verbal, written, reading and listening.
